Orlando, FL — January 2026 — Solar-Tite, a trusted independent window and door supplier serving Florida’s residential market, today announced a strategic partnership with U.S. WDS, a national portfolio of leading window and door companies supporting residential, commercial, and multifamily construction.
The partnership, completed in May 2024, positions Solar-Tite for its next phase of growth while maintaining continuity for employees, customers, and vendor partners. U.S. WDS acquired a majority interest, with the Holt family retaining a minority ownership stake to support a thoughtful and collaborative transition.
With access to U.S. WDS’s expanded resources, operational expertise, and supplier relationships, the company will continue delivering the high-quality service and product expertise customers have relied on for decades—while expanding its capabilities, team, and partnerships statewide.
Leadership Appointments
Howard Moore — General Manager
Moore brings extensive experience in the window and door industry and will oversee operations, customer relationships, and strategic growth initiatives.
John Clementson — Sales Director
Clementson brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including over 20 years with Solar-Tite, and is widely respected for his expertise in codes and window and door product solutions.
